Winsor & Newton and the Royal Academy of Arts competition.

Win 2 tickets to the exclusive event 'The Art and Science of Colour' at the Royal Academy, a personalised Winsor & Newton Series 7 brush, and a signed copy of Composer by Christopher Le Brun, President of Royal Academy.

Winsor & Newton have been bringing art and science together since 1832 and in celebration of our culture of innovation and our partnership with the Royal Academy of Arts, we are holding a one off evening event of discovery and discussion about colour.

Hosted by Christopher Le Brun PRA, the evening will feature distinguished speakers across a range of disciplines including artist and authority on colour, David Batchelor and Senior Lecturer in Earth Sciences at UCL, Dr Ruth Siddall. The event will be moderated by art historian and lecturer, Ben Street.

The event will take place on Monday 11 September 2017 at The Royal Academy of Arts, London, W1J 0BD, and will run from 6.30-9.00pm.

Watch the video below where Christopher Le Brun PRA looks back to J.M.W. Turner and his relationship with Winsor and Newton's founders and answer the question to enter the competition.

The competition closes on 25 August, and we will inform the winner on 29 August 2017.

How many members were in the Royal Academy of Arts whilst J.M.W. Turner was painting?
